Wheel build help, where to buy titanium spokes?

Postby BMXBenny » 06 Sep 2016, 17:19

Hi
I'm looking at building a new wheelset and was wondering where people buy spokes from? I'm in the UK but I'll consider buying from abroad.
I've seen some ti spokes for sale but the smallest is 182mm and I need 176mm to work with a hope hub and Alienation Deviant rim.
Also what are people's views on ti spokes? I've done some research and found people mention there is more flex than steel?
I was going to opt for radial laced titanium up front as I've heard radial is stiffer but cannot be used with torsion. For the rear I was planning on 3x laced butted steel spokes but I haven't decided on a rim yet but it will be Alienation. I'm looking for stiffness in the rear wheel.
Any help or advice is much appreciated.

For anyone wondering I managed to get spokes from crucial bmx. They cut to custom lengths and it only took a few days for the spokes to arrive. They were really helpful when I rang them too.
