I last did squats in 1989, they did something unmentionable to my bottom and I've never done any since :shock:

Hi i have a friend who use to squat 245 kg for 5 in the gym and use to bench 180 kgs mind you he had 20 plus inch arms at the time so yes he was a big guy and his brother is now bigger than him .And it was all au natrell no roid abuse any where . :D

Are you sure? That's powerlifting territory. 700+ lbs for 15 reps? Come on..! Even 332lbs is 150kg which is pretty high.

Anyway, strength ain't sh*t unless you can convert it into speed. When they start having a squatters class at nationals then the numbers MIGHT matter....

1x3x135, 1x3x140, 1x3x145, 1x3x150 last thursday and looking for 155 next week.
This is mixed with 200kgs single leg press 4x5 and plyometrics training........all combined with sprints twice or 3 times a week.
Only the combination squats and sprints will give you what we all want: POWER

Don't forget that lifting 100000000 kgs won't take you anywhere, if there is no speed with it then you are a body builder not a racing bmxer.
Strenght x speed = power...or squats x sprints = "that guy is quick!!" ;) ;)
