Early this morning Pete Smith "THE PISTOL" after having suffered a massive heart attack and being in a coma for 5 days ...PEACEFULY PASSED AWAY'
All you Old Skool will remember Pete and Betty Smith from Derby.
Our Thoughts and Hearts go out to Betty, Leigh, Garry and all the Family at this sad time..........R.I.P. PETE

Very Sad News

Pete was Always there for the Banter a good guy and so passionate for his leigh's Riding, I Had a brief Chat With Him at Derby National this year Between races about the old Days, He was also very close to Winnie, hope he's having a beer with him right now in BMX Heaven.

i,ve known pete most of my life i grew up very good mates with leigh and his family this is shocking news my heart goes out to the family xxxxx

Sad News Pete was one of the original wobbly mob had many a good bevey with him over the years. Thoughts of the good times with Leigh and Sam racing. Steve & Sam.

Can't imagine what the family are going through at this time but lets all remember those from the past that have now departed. Maybe a minutes silence at Cheddar in respect of them all.
