Back row R-L I think is Warren Godfrey, Keith and Ruffs. On the front I think I can see Karen Murphy 2nd from Left.
Ratty, you need to speak to Tony Slater about his scrapbooks as well, awesome pics.

The little Diamond Back guy on the front right was World Champ I think. Still can't remember his name though.

I spy the Scott-Webbs, Andy Rouse in front of Warren, Little girl in the middle is one of the Hills clan from Woodham, lad in the Kuwahara top is from Benfleet, can't think of his name though.

I have been nagging him for months to let me scan them for him, perhaps now Keith has let me, he will let me prise the scrapbook away for a few days

Keith, you was telling me a story about Louis Mears, can you remind me?

Torker rider is Ben Swift (my teammate the following year), thats his bike in front (no.2 plate).

If i remember rightly he should be either one year older or one younger than Dale!

Dont know much about Louis Mears except he was WC.

Heard all sorts of rumours about Clifford Welley (in the kuwahara gear) but dont know if they are true so i'll keep quiet about him. (good rider though)

I have tons more pics from this era & loads from racing in the states in 82/83, will try to get them posted soon.

Dave Ferguson (Scott's dad) took the black & white shots. He was a photographer that used to take hundreds & hundreds of pics at every race & sell them for 50p each.

Now if anyone could find out where he is now he would have thousands of pics of everyone that raced in 80/81/82.

Think he was something to do with Woodham Warriors, now they seem to be re-forming maybe he'll turn up????

Who's the guy in the "BMX" top next to Louis Mears?
He looks very familiar but just can't lock onto the memory!

The name eludes me Geth. Considering he was only 12 then he was quite a bruiser.

I would've won the open class then with Andy winning 15s. Dean Scott-Webb 14s, Warren Godfrey 13s, unknowwn 12s, Cliff Welley 11s, Ben Swift 10s, Louis Mears was prob 7s, dont know the girls at all or where the picture was taken.

I can only date it as late 82 because of the kit i was wearing i only wore a couple of times after i left redline & before i went to torker!

Cant believe how small i was, being the oldest in the picture!!!
